Guest Service Agent Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and professional check-in and check-out experience.

  • Handle guest registrations, room assignments, and process payments accurately.

  • Provide detailed information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.

  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring high guest satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate guest records and preferences in the property management system.

  • Coordinate with other departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, and Concierge to fulfill guest needs.

  • Promote hotel services, upgrades, and loyalty programs to enhance guest experience and revenue.

  • Manage room keys, billing, and guest accounts according to hotel procedures.

  • Handle VIP, corporate, and long-stay guest arrivals with personalized attention.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.

  • Support the Duty Manager or Night Manager during peak operations or guest challenges.

  • Ensure all front office activities comply with brand standards, safety, and service excellence expectations.
