Food & Beverage Manager – Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites And Apartments

Position Summary:

The Food & Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and profitability. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and maintaining guest satisfaction across all restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets to ensure exceptional service and operational efficiency.

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals, including cost control, revenue generation, and profitability.

  • Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to maintain service excellence and brand standards.

  • Oversee menu planning, pricing, and promotions in coordination with the Executive Chef and Marketing team.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP).

  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance dining experiences.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial and operational reports.

  • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, suppliers, and business partners.

  • Support the organization of banquets, events, and special functions.

  • Ensure all F&B equipment and facilities are well maintained and operational.

  • Maintain high standards of presentation and hospitality in all areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field.

  • Minimum 4–6 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage management, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.

  • In-depth knowledge of F&B operations, service standards, and guest relations.

  • Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Micros, or similar).

  • Creative, results-driven, and guest-oriented personality.

  • Fluency in English; additional languages (Arabic, French, or others) are an asset.
