Position Summary:
The Bar Hostess is the first point of contact for guests at the bar, responsible for providing a warm welcome and ensuring a pleasant, memorable experience. This role involves managing guest seating, maintaining smooth service flow, and supporting the bar and service teams with exceptional communication and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and make them feel welcome and comfortable.

Manage reservations and walk-ins efficiently, ensuring optimal seating arrangements.

Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times, reflecting the hotel’s brand standards.

Coordinate with the Bar Manager and service team to ensure smooth table turnover and service flow.

Provide guests with menus, explain promotions or signature beverages, and assist with basic inquiries.

Handle guest complaints or special requests courteously and promptly, escalating when necessary.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas.

Record guest preferences and feedback to enhance personalized service.

Assist with promotional events, themed nights, and VIP guest arrangements.

Follow grooming, hygiene, and service etiquette standards consistently.
Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or degree in Hospitality is an advantage.

Previous experience as a hostess or in guest-facing roles, preferably in a hotel, lounge, or restaurant.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional, courteous, and well-groomed appearance.

Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages (Arabic, Russian, French, etc.) is a plus.

Familiarity with reservation systems and POS software is an advantage.
