Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to be the welcoming first point of contact for all guests. As the face of our hotel, you will manage check-in/check-out processes, handle guest inquiries, and ensure a seamless and positive experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services:
Greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and provide detailed information about rooms, rates, amenities, and local attractions.
- Check-in/Check-out:
Efficiently register guests and manage check-out procedures, including payment verification.
- Communication:
Handle phone calls and guest requests, directing them to the appropriate departments for assistance.
- Administrative Tasks:
Assist with daily front desk operations, maintaining a professional and organized lobby area.
- Problem Resolution:
Address guest concerns and resolve issues calmly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordination:
Liaise with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and concierge, to ensure guest needs are met.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, positive, and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with computers and hotel management software (or ability to learn quickly).
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred.
