Housekeeping Attendant- Hotel Cleanliness Expert

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and hygiene in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role ensures a welcoming, spotless, and comfortable environment for guests while adhering to brand standards and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and public areas to high standards.

  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish guest amenities.

  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces in rooms and public areas.

  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors.

  • Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

  • Follow established hygiene, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and special housekeeping requirements.

  • Assist in preparing rooms for VIP arrivals, check-ins, and special events.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient and high-quality service.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in hotels preferred.

  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness.

  • Good physical stamina and ability to work on feet for long periods.

  • Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork.

  • Basic communication skills.

  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
