F&B Intern

Job Description

The F&B Intern supports the Food and Beverage team by assisting in daily operations across restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet areas. This role is designed to provide hands-on learning and practical experience in customer service, restaurant standards, and hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in welcoming and seating guests in a polite and professional manner.

  • Support waitstaff with taking orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables.

  • Ensure all dining areas are clean, organized, and prepared for service.

  • Learn menu items, ingredients, and service standards to provide accurate guest information.

  • Assist with buffet setups, coffee breaks, and banquet events when required.

  • Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.

  • Support supervisors and managers with daily tasks and administrative duties.

  • Handle guest requests and ensure a positive dining experience.

  • Participate in training sessions to learn hotel standards and operational procedures.

Skills & Qualities:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Good grooming and presentation

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Basic understanding of customer service

  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
