Job Description

The Commis I – Banquet plays a vital role in supporting the culinary team by preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes for all banquet and event operations. The position requires excellent culinary skills, strong organization, and the ability to work efficiently during high-volume functions. The Commis I is responsible for preparing ingredients, following recipes, ensuring proper portioning, and maintaining consistency across all banquet menus.

The role includes setting up banquet stations, assisting chefs during service, and ensuring all food is delivered on time and in excellent condition. The Commis I must maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, keep workstations clean and organized, and follow HACCP guidelines at all times. Collaboration with the Banquet Chef and other kitchen team members is essential to ensure smooth operations during weddings, conferences, corporate events, and special functions.
