Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Equipment Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, steamers, grills, refrigerators, dishwashers, and ice machines.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and gas-related issues in kitchen appliances.

Ensure all kitchen equipment meets hygiene and safety standards.
-
Coordinate with culinary team to ensure minimal downtime during maintenance or repairs.
-
Maintain accurate records of equipment service, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Laundry Equipment Responsibilities:

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair laundry machinery including washing machines, dryers, steam pressers, and ironing equipment.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and ensure efficient performance.

Monitor boiler and steam systems related to laundry operations.
-
Ensure safe operations and compliance with manufacturer standards.
General Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to service requests from Kitchen and Laundry departments.

Ensure availability of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
-
Maintain clean and safe working conditions in all technical areas.
-
Assist in installation and testing of new equipment.
-
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and engineering standards.
-
Report major breakdowns or repairs that require vendor support.

Support Engineering team with other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Technical Diploma/ITI certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Kitchen & Laundry Technician, preferably in hospitality.
-
Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment (electric & gas) and laundry machinery.
-
Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics.
-
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-
Physically fit and able to work in hot, noisy environments.
-
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duties when required.
