Health Club Attendant – Bay La Sun Hotel & Marina Makkah, KSA

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service & Assistance:

  • Welcome guests to the health club with a friendly and professional attitude.

  • Assist members with information about gym equipment, pool rules, spa services, and facility usage.

  • Provide towels, lockers, and amenities as required.

  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and minor complaints promptly.

Facility Cleanliness & Maintenance:

  • Ensure gym areas, poolside, changing rooms, sauna, and steam rooms are clean and well-maintained at all times.

  • Regularly sanitize gym equipment, machines, mats, and high-touch surfaces.

  • Replace used towels, amenities, and water supplies.

  • Report any maintenance issues such as faulty equipment, lighting, or pool water problems.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Monitor gym floor activity to ensure safe use of equipment by guests.

  • Enforce safety rules, pool regulations, and hygiene standards.

  • Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe behavior immediately.

  • Support lifeguards and fitness instructors as needed.

Operations & Support:

  • Assist with stock control and replenishing amenities (water bottles, towels, toiletries).

  • Prepare fitness areas for classes, personal training sessions, and scheduled activities.

  • Help maintain equipment logs and daily checklists.

  • Support membership promotions and facility tours when required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in hospitality, fitness centers, spas, or recreational facilities (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Basic understanding of gym equipment and health & safety rules.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Energetic, courteous, and well-groomed.

  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

  • CPR/First Aid certification is an advantage.
