Fatness Attendant – Bay La Sun Hotel & Marina Makkah, KSA

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service & Support:

  • Welcome and assist guests and members entering the fitness center.

  • Provide guidance on the safe use of gym equipment and machines.

  • Support guests with basic fitness information and facility guidelines.

  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and minor complaints professionally.

Facility Cleanliness & Hygiene:

  • Clean, sanitize, and organize all gym equipment, weights, mats, and cardio machines.

  • Ensure changing rooms, showers, lockers, sauna, and steam rooms are kept clean.

  • Replenish towels, drinking water, and amenities as needed.

  • Maintain overall cleanliness to meet hotel or club standards.

Safety & Monitoring:

  • Monitor the gym floor to ensure guests follow safety rules and equipment is used correctly.

  • Report any broken equipment, hazards, or maintenance issues immediately.

  • Assist during emergencies and ensure safety protocols are followed.

  • Support lifeguards, trainers, or health club staff when required.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily checklists and log sheets for gym equipment and facilities.

  • Set up fitness areas for classes or special activities.

  • Ensure music, lighting, and room temperature are properly adjusted.

  • Assist in promotions, membership tours, or fitness events when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a gym, health club, spa, or hospitality environment (preferred).

  • Basic knowledge of gym equipment and fitness safety.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Positive, energetic, and well-presented personality.

  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

  • CPR/First Aid certification is an added advantage.
