Job Description

 

We are looking for a Housing Attendant to join our people & culture team and ensure that all employee accommodations are clean, organized, and welcoming. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and supportive living environment for our team, allowing them to thrive while contributing to the retreat’s spirit of adventure, community, and authenticity.

Employee Accommodation & Housekeeping

  • Clean, organize, and maintain staff housing units to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
  • Prepare accommodations for new staff arrivals and assist with move-ins as needed.
  • Respond promptly to staff requests or concerns related to their living spaces with professionalism and care.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Hygiene, Safety & Standards

  • Follow strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
  • Ensure proper handling of cleaning equipment, supplies, and staff belongings.
  • Maintain storage areas, cleaning tools, and housing facilities in an organized and safe manner.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with operations, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth functioning of staff accommodations.
  • Assist in maintaining communal areas, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness throughout employee housing.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve staff satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or staff accommodation services preferred.
  • Friendly, approachable, and team-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and service standards.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
