Plumber – Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City, Dubai,

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumber to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our facilities maintenance department, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems throughout our properties.

• Install, repair, and maintain various plumbing fixtures and systems, including sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, and water conditioners
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of plumbing equipment, including water supply systems, sewer pumps, and drainage networks
• Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems, including cleaning fat traps, soil pipes, and roof-level ventilation and rainwater outlets
• Review building plans and specifications to determine plumbing layouts and material requirements
• Install supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring proper positioning and functionality
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to execute preventive and annual maintenance programs
• Adhere to all safety rules, local building codes, and regulations while performing job duties
• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues efficiently and effectively
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with property occupants or clients
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Stay updated on the latest plumbing technologies and best practices

• Vocational certificate or diploma in plumbing or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional plumber
• Valid plumbing license (if required in Dubai)
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting building plans and technical specifications
• Strong skills in plumbing, pipe fitting, water heater installation, and boiler maintenance
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations in Dubai
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and adherence to best practices in plumbing
• Proficiency in using various plumbing tools and equipment
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes
• Flexibility to work on call or during non-standard hours when necessary
