About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Commis 3 to join Lah Lah in Zabeel House the Greens by Jumeirah.
The main duties and responsibilities for this role:
• Gather, measure, mix, and prepare meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings according to specified recipes and instructions.
• Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meats as required, ensuring all preparation meets hygiene and quality standards.
• Cut and season various meats as directed by senior culinary staff, maintaining consistency in preparation techniques.
• Prepare basic dishes such as salads and sauces as instructed, ensuring adherence to recipe specifications and plating guidelines.
• Follow established recipes and plating guides precisely to maintain consistency and quality in food presentation.
• Ensure proper stocking and organization of food items in refrigerators and freezers to maintain freshness and availability.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
• Expert in food quality and presentation skills.
• Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity
• Team Player with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
• 1 year of experience in a range of kitchen areas; ideally within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak)
