Assistant Front Office Manager -Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi

To assist in managing the daily operations of the Front Office, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth operational flow, and adherence to brand standards while supporting and leading the Front Office team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily Front Office operations

  • Supervise and support Front Desk, Bell Desk, Concierge, and Club Lounge teams

  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, SOPs, and service excellence guidelines

  • Handle VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest recovery situations

  • Monitor room status, arrivals, departures, and room allocations

  • Support staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management

  • Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution

  • Ensure accurate cash handling, billing, and night audit procedures

  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security

  • Assist with departmental reporting, forecasting, and budgeting

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field

  • Minimum 2–4 years experience in Front Office or Guest Services

  • Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in PMS systems (Opera or similar)

  • Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
