Position Summary:

The Bar Manager oversees the daily operations of the bar to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient operations, and maximum profitability. This role is responsible for managing staff, maintaining beverage quality standards, developing creative drink menus, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all bar operations, including staffing, inventory, and service standards.

• Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver professional, engaging, and friendly service.

• Create and update beverage menus, introducing innovative cocktails and premium offerings aligned with guest preferences and brand standards.

• Ensure all beverages are prepared and served according to hotel standards and presentation guidelines.

• Monitor inventory, control costs, and minimize wastage through efficient stock management.

• Ensure adherence to hygiene, health, and safety regulations (HACCP) at all times.

• Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring service recovery when necessary.

• Prepare and review sales reports, budgets, and performance metrics to achieve revenue goals.

• Coordinate with the F&B and Marketing teams on promotions, events, and themed nights.

• Maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and equipment functionality within the bar area.

• Foster a positive and energetic work environment that encourages teamwork and creativity.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of bar or beverage management experience, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel or upscale venue.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Excellent knowledge of beverages, mixology, and bar trends.

• Sound financial understanding, including budgeting, cost control, and pricing.

• Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software (e.g., Micros).

• Exceptional guest service and problem-solving abilities.

• Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic, Russian, French, etc.) are a plus.
