Bartender – Job Description
A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. The role requires a strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and guest preferences.

Greet guests courteously and take drink orders efficiently.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and equipment.

Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards.

Check identification to verify guests meet legal drinking age requirements.

Upsell beverages and promote signature cocktails or specials.

Handle cash, credit transactions, and maintain accurate billing.

Monitor guest behavior and report any issues to the supervisor or manager.

Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.

Support the service team and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or lounge.

Excellent knowledge of mixology, wines, and spirits.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Attention to detail and a well-groomed appearance.

Ability to work under pressure and during peak hours.

Fluent in English (additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, or Italian are an advantage).

Valid alcohol handling certification preferred.
