Bellman

The Bellman is responsible for assisting guests with luggage handling, transportation arrangements, and delivering a warm first and last impression. The role ensures smooth arrivals and departures while maintaining excellent guest service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Assistance & Service

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with unloading luggage.

  • Escort guests to their rooms, explain room features, and ensure comfort.

  • Handle luggage during check-in, check-out, and room moves.

  • Provide directions and information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

  • Ensure timely delivery of amenities, parcels, and messages to guest rooms.

Lobby & Front Entrance Operations

  • Maintain a welcoming presence at the entrance and lobby area.

  • Open doors, assist guests with wheelchairs or heavy bags, and support special needs.

  • Keep the lobby entrance clean, organized, and presentable.

  • Monitor guest flow and coordinate with the Front Desk during busy times.

Transportation & Coordination

  • Arrange taxis, private transfers, and assist with valet parking when required.

  • Manage luggage storage, tag items correctly, and keep accurate records.

  • Coordinate with Concierge, Front Desk, and Security to support guest needs.

Safety & Security

  • Follow hotel safety procedures when handling luggage and guest belongings.

  • Report suspicious activity or items to Security and management.

  • Ensure lost-and-found procedures are followed correctly.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.

  • Friendly, polite, and professional demeanor.

  • Ability to lift and carry luggage safely.

  • Good communication skills; basic English required, additional languages are an advantage.

  • Excellent grooming and personal presentation.

  • Knowledge of local attractions and transportation options is helpful.
