About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Rooms Interns to join Jumeirah Hotels in Dubai.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Create great first impressions by welcoming guests, handling check-ins, and escorting them while showcasing hotel facilities.
- Boost satisfaction and revenue through proactive upselling, smooth walk-in handling, quick issue resolution, and consistently high service standards.
- Deliver VIP and group excellence by preparing rooms, arranging amenities, managing group check-ins, and fulfilling special requests.
- Maintain accurate guest profiles and communication records in the PMS.
- Support daily operations by coordinating with other departments, preparing reports, and ensuring the lobby and front desk are guest ready.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in a university or a recent graduate of a relevant university degree
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of front office systems, particularly Opera PMS and HotSOS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly, adapting to varying schedules and hotel occupancy demands
