Kitchen Steward -The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all kitchen and storage areas.

  • Assist with receiving, storing, and handling food deliveries in accordance with hygiene standards.

  • Dispose of waste properly and ensure proper recycling practices are followed.

  • Follow health and safety standards, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

  • Support the kitchen team as needed with basic food preparation tasks.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, hygiene regulations, and local health laws.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures in a kitchen setting.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.

  • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and carry items for extended periods.

  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
