Recreation & Gym Attendant – Recreation Experience Expert

The Recreation & Gym Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in the recreation, pool, beach, and fitness areas. This role ensures safety, cleanliness, and personalized service while assisting guests with activities, equipment, and facility usage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide information on recreational facilities, activities, and services.

  • Ensure the gym, pool, and beach areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

  • Monitor guest activity to ensure safety and proper use of equipment.

  • Set up towels, sunbeds, umbrellas, and recreational amenities.

  • Assist guests with gym equipment operation, basic instructions, and facility guidelines.

  • Support the Recreation Team with daily activities, events, and children’s programs.

  • Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or incidents immediately.

  • Maintain inventory of towels, water, equipment, and guest amenities.

  • Provide first aid assistance when required (if certified).

  • Uphold all hygiene, safety, and brand service standards.

  • Assist in coordinating with Lifeguards, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office for smooth operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in recreation, gym, pool, or guest service roles preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and recreation activities.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to handle outdoor working environments (pool/beach).

  • Physically fit and active.

  • First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.

  • Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to assist guests of all ages.
