Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all sales activities in line with the department’s business objectives to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Proactively identify, solicit, and secure transient, group, and meeting business in accordance with the hotel’s sales strategy.
- Ensure adherence to established selling strategies and optimize every opportunity for up-selling and revenue enhancement.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the property’s unique selling points, features, amenities, services, and operational policies to effectively promote the hotel.
- Prepare corporate and government proposal letters, annual contracts, and other related business correspondences with accuracy and professionalism.
- Monitor and report market trends, competitor activities, and evolving client requirements to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Sales & Marketing on negotiation progress, confirmed business, and potential leads.
- Ensure timely, efficient, and professional execution of all assigned duties in accordance with hotel policies and service standards.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date account database and client contact records.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star hotel, preferably with a focus on M.I.C.E sales.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with a commitment to delivering excellence.
