An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Waiter/ess to join Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Warmly welcome guests, escort them to their tables, and provide seating information.
• Explain menu items, specials, and promotions, addressing any dietary or allergy-related inquiries.
• Take and communicate accurate food and beverage orders while ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations.
• Serve food and beverages professionally, handle billing and payments through the MICROS system, and ensure smooth service operations.
• Gather guest feedback, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain overall guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Holds a Higher Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent) with Basic Food and Hygiene Training; a Diploma in Hotel Management is an added advantage.
• Possesses 2–3 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a luxury hotel, demonstrating strong knowledge of service standards.
• Experienced in handling telephone inquiries and using the MICROS cashiering system, with basic computer literacy.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking) with excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, reliability, and attention to detail, supported by a sincere and energetic attitude.
