The Steward plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards of the kitchen and back-of-house areas. This position supports the culinary team by ensuring all equipment, utensils, and workspaces are clean, sanitized, and readily available, contributing to smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean, sanitize, and store all kitchen equipment, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and surfaces following hygiene and safety standards.

Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
-
Assist in waste management, including garbage disposal and recycling procedures.

Ensure adequate supply of clean china, glassware, silverware, and kitchen tools.

Support the culinary and F&B teams during busy service periods.
-
Follow HACCP guidelines and adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.

Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Assist in deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled.
Skills & Qualifications:

Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physically fit to handle lifting, standing, and long hours.

Previous stewarding experience is an advantage but not required
