Waiter / Waitress – Job Description
A Waiter or Waitress is responsible for providing exceptional dining service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. The role requires a courteous attitude, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to create a welcoming and efficient service environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.

Present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations when requested.

Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar.

Serve meals and drinks efficiently and ensure presentation meets brand standards.

Check on guest satisfaction during service and handle any requests or complaints professionally.

Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area.

Process guest payments accurately and maintain billing records.

Follow hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times.

Work closely with team members and support overall restaurant operations.
Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a hotel or restaurant preferred.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Positive attitude and professional appearance.

Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, or German are a plus.

Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.
