Income Auditor – Royal Rose Hotel Abu Dhabi

Job Description

The Income Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all hotel revenues. This role involves daily auditing of income transactions, verifying postings across all revenue centers, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies, internal controls, and brand standards. The Income Auditor plays a critical role in safeguarding revenue, identifying discrepancies, and supporting financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit daily revenue reports from all operating departments (Rooms, F&B, Spa, Banquets, Laundry, etc.)

  • Verify room revenue, postings, allowances, rebates, and no-show charges

  • Reconcile PMS, POS, and other systems with daily revenue summaries

  • Review and validate cash, credit card, city ledger, and online travel agent (OTA) transactions

  • Ensure proper authorization for discounts, voids, rebates, and complimentary services

  • Investigate and report discrepancies, variances, or irregularities

  • Prepare Daily Revenue Report (DRR) and submit to management

  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, internal controls, and brand standards

  • Assist in month-end closing and revenue analysis

  • Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, and Sales teams for revenue clarifications

  • Maintain accurate audit records and supporting documentation

  • Support internal and external audits as required

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years experience as an Income Auditor or Accounts role in a hotel

  • Experience with international hotel brands is an advantage
