Job Summary
A Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly attitude, and a strong sense of teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service

Greet guests warmly and escort them to their table.

Present menus and explain daily specials.

Take accurate food and beverage orders.

Provide recommendations based on guest preferences.

Ensure timely delivery of orders to the table.

Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction.

Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns.
Food & Beverage Service

Serve food and beverages in a professional manner.

Clear and reset tables efficiently.

Ensure proper table setup and presentation.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area.

Assist with buffet setup and service (if required).
Operational Support

Coordinate with kitchen and bar team to ensure smooth service.

Follow standard operating procedures for service.

Ensure accurate billing and handle guest payments.

Assist in inventory checks and stock control.
Health & Safety

Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Report any hazards or incidents to the supervisor.
Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is preferred.

Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Basic understanding of POS systems.
