Job Summary: F&B Guest Ambassador / Hostess

As an F&B Guest Ambassador / Hostess, you will act as the first point of contact for guests in all F&B outlets. You will be responsible for managing seating arrangements, reservations, and guest inquiries, ensuring exceptional service while maintaining luxury standards. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a high-volume, multicultural environment.

This position provides exposure to international hospitality standards and prepares staff for leadership roles in F&B and guest services.


Key Responsibilities of F&B Guest Ambassador / Hostess

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.

  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, including VIP and priority guests.

  • Guide guests to their tables while providing relevant menu information and special promotions.

  • Collaborate with servers, F&B supervisors, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow.

  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items, beverages, and service standards to answer guest questions accurately.

  • Monitor table availability, guest waiting times, and coordinate guest seating to optimize restaurant flow.

  • Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate to supervisors when necessary.

  • Ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of entrance, waiting areas, and service stations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in F&B front-of-house operations, preferably in a five-star or luxury hotel.

  • Previous experience in hostess, guest service, or front desk roles is highly desirable.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a multicultural, high-volume environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer engagement skills.

  • Professional appearance, grooming, and etiquette.

  • Knowledge of reservation and POS systems is an advantage.
