Job Summary

As a Hostess – The Red Sea EDITION, you will manage guest seating, reservations, and the overall flow of the restaurant or dining area. You act as the first point of contact for guests, representing the resort’s high standards of hospitality. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.

• Manage reservations, guest lists, and seating arrangements efficiently to ensure smooth operations.

• Provide accurate information about menus, special promotions, and restaurant services.

• Escort guests to tables and provide menus while ensuring the dining area maintains a polished, organized appearance.

• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.

• Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and management to optimize service flow and table turnover.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area.

• Monitor guest arrivals, departures, and waiting times to manage the overall dining experience effectively.

• Assist in training new host/hostess staff on service standards and operational procedures.

• Support the management team in executing special events, VIP services, and seasonal promotions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service certification is a plus.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hostess or front-of-house role in luxury hotels, resorts, or fine-dining restaurants.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.

• Professional appearance and grooming standards in line with luxury hospitality requirements.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is advantageous.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
