13. Handle banking transactions, petty cash, and payroll oversight as needed.
14. Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and issues.
15. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and best practices in the hospitality sector.

Skills and Requirements – Chief Accountant

• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in hotels or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise and mentor a team effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Opera, SAP, or similar).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
• Knowledge of Bahraini financial regulations and VAT compliance is an advantage.
