About the Role – Door Attendant – Concierge – Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai

As a Door Attendant – Concierge, you will play a vital role in shaping the first and last impressions of guests at the hotel. You will ensure that arrivals and departures are seamless, efficient, and delivered with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all guests entering and leaving the hotel with a professional, warm, and courteous manner.

• Open car doors for guests arriving and departing, assisting with luggage and ensuring a smooth welcome and farewell.

• Coordinate with bell attendants to safely remove luggage and parcels from vehicles and deliver them to guest rooms.

• Safely store luggage in the storeroom, ensuring it remains organized and clean.

• Hail taxis for guests using the designated taxi company, open taxi doors, and provide assistance as needed.

• Receive, record, and deliver incoming packages, letters, and documents for guests.

• Identify and assist with security matters, acting as the first point of contact for guest safety at the hotel entrance.

• Maintain high standards of personal grooming, uniform cleanliness, and professional appearance.

• Adhere to departmental policies, SOPs, and Health, Safety, and Environment procedures, ensuring luxury service standards are consistently met.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Certificate or equivalent.

• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

• 1–2 years of experience in the hotel industry, preferably in luxury resorts.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.

• A professional, courteous, and approachable demeanor.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and handle guest interactions with tact.
