Jumeirah Messilah Beach is seeking an experienced Assistant Outlet Manager – Banqueting to join its distinguished Food & Beverage team. In this role, you will oversee banqueting operations, ensure service excellence, and provide world-class experiences for all guests, from corporate functions to private celebrations. Key Responsibilities: Assistant Outlet Manager – Banqueting

Lead, mentor, and motivate the banqueting staff to ensure consistent adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and exceptional service standards.

Plan, organize, and execute all types of banquet events, including corporate conferences, weddings, gala dinners, and private gatherings, ensuring seamless operations.

Collaborate closely with kitchen, service, and event teams to coordinate every aspect of an event, from table setup to menu execution, ensuring flawless guest experiences.

Supervise daily operations, including staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and vacation planning, while promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Maintain hygiene, safety, and quality standards across all banqueting and F&B areas in line with local regulations and company policies.

Monitor guest satisfaction, handle escalations professionally, and implement process improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.

Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation for banqueting operations to achieve financial targets and minimize waste.

Support internal audits and ensure compliance with local laws, health & safety regulations, and Jumeirah’s policies.

Conduct regular briefings with team members to communicate event details, VIP guest preferences, and operational updates to ensure smooth service delivery.

Develop innovative service strategies and guest engagement initiatives to elevate the standard of banqueting services.

Ensure proper inventory management of supplies, equipment, and décor items, minimizing losses and optimizing resources for maximum efficiency.

Maintain strong communication with clients, understanding their requirements and providing personalized solutions for every event.

Monitor post-event feedback, analyze performance metrics, and implement corrective actions to continuously improve service standards.

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote banqueting services, support site inspections, and contribute to revenue-generating initiatives.

Participate in regular training and development programs to ensure personal growth and knowledge of the latest trends in luxury hospitality and F&B operations.

Assist with the coordination of in-house events, promotions, and seasonal banqueting offerings to enhance guest satisfaction and brand visibility.
Qualifications & Experience – Assistant Outlet Manager – Banqueting

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a five-star or luxury hotel.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with proven ability to manage multicultural teams in high-pressure environments.

In-depth knowledge of F&B operations, banqueting standards, luxury service protocols, and event management.

Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to dynamic operational needs while maintaining high service quality.

Proficient in relevant hospitality software, reporting tools, and operational systems.
