Assist colleagues in supporting culinary teams, enhancing team spirit, credibility, respect, openness, and trust.

Report accidents, sickness, or equipment malfunctions immediately to the Chef de Cuisine with accurate and concise details.

Identify and request assistance proactively to prevent operational breakdowns, ensuring smooth kitchen workflow.

Relay any breakdown-related information to the Chef de Cuisine to enable root cause analysis and prevent reoccurrences.

Respond positively to changes in departmental functions, adapting to the requirements of the industry, company, or hotel.

Act as an ambassador of lateral service, ensuring collaboration and support across all culinary operations.

Adhere strictly to company safety procedures, food hygiene policies, and safe food handling practices.

Follow all culinary standards regarding recipes, preparation methods, plating, and presentation guidelines.

Collaborate closely with the Stewarding Manager to maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the bakery, including machinery, small kitchen equipment, floors, and fridges.

Participate in continuous training programs, developing skills in pastry, baking, and international cuisine standards.

Support inventory management, assisting in the accurate receiving, storage, and handling of ingredients to minimize waste and optimize resources.

Assist in creating new bakery products and dessert concepts that align with Jumeirah Messilah Beach’s high culinary standards.

Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance guest satisfaction in bakery services.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a culinary role within a five-star hotel, ideally in pastry or bakery operations.
