The Bartender – Fairmont Ajman supports daily bar operations with a focus on quality, speed, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include:

Beverage Preparation & Presentation

• Prepare and serve both alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in line with established recipes and brand standards.

• Create classic cocktails as well as seasonal and signature drink specials in collaboration with the Outlet Manager.

• Ensure consistent portion control and presentation to maintain Fairmont’s quality and aesthetic standards.

Guest Service & Engagement

• Welcome and engage guests warmly, taking drink orders and making recommendations based on guest preferences.

• Provide professional, friendly service that reflects the resort’s luxury standards and enhances the guest experience.

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, feedback, and requests.

Bar Management & Operations

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the bar area, workstations, tools, and equipment.

• Monitor inventory levels, request bar supplies, and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste.

• Handle point‑of‑sale (POS) transactions, cash handling, and accurate record‑keeping during shifts.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Follow health and safety procedures, local liquor licensing laws, and company policies at all times.

• Ensure responsible service of alcohol and intervene if guest behaviour becomes unsafe or non‑compliant.

Team Support

• Work collaboratively with colleagues during peak periods to ensure smooth bar and restaurant service flow.

• Help train or guide new or junior team members when needed, maintaining excellent teamwork and communication.

Qualifications & Skills Required
