Bellman – Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort is a vital role in providing exceptional guest experiences and luxury hospitality. As a Bellman, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring seamless arrivals, departures, and in-stay assistance. This role combines high levels of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent guest service to create memorable experiences at one of Abu Dhabi’s premier luxury hotels.
About the Role
The Bellman is responsible for handling guest luggage, providing assistance during check-in and check-out, and offering concierge support. You will work closely with Front Desk, Concierge, Valet, and Housekeeping teams to ensure smooth and efficient service, while maintaining Sheraton’s high standards of hospitality.
This position requires a proactive approach, the ability to anticipate guest needs, and a commitment to excellence in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Hospitality

Provide assistance to guests with luggage during arrival, check-in, and check-out.

Escort guests to their rooms, explaining hotel facilities and services.

Deliver and collect luggage to and from guest rooms efficiently and safely.

Transport hotel packages, parcels, and guest belongings.

Greet guests warmly in the lobby and provide courteous, professional service.

Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints, ensuring maximum satisfaction.

Provide local recommendations, directions, and concierge assistance.

Maintain a visible and approachable presence in public areas.
Team Collaboration & Operational Support

Work closely with Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Valet teams to maintain operational efficiency.

Support other departments during peak hours or high occupancy periods.

Maintain accurate records of luggage deliveries and pick-ups.

Assist with operational tasks assigned by supervisors or management.
Safety & Standards Compliance

Follow Sheraton’s safety and operational protocols at all times.

Ensure safe handling of luggage and hotel equipment.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of lobby, storage, and bell areas.

Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or guest concerns promptly.
Qualifications & Skills

1–2 years of experience as a Bellman or similar role in a luxury hotel.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with Sheraton standards.

Ability to lift, carry, and transport luggage safely.
-
Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Proactive attitude with a strong guest service orientation.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Driver’s license is a plus.
