Job Summary

As an Electrician – Centro Olaya Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all electrical systems across the hotel property. This includes lighting systems, power distribution, sockets, circuit breakers, electrical panels, control wiring, and other related equipment. You must ensure that all electrical work adheres to safety standards and hotel maintenance procedures.

You will also support the Engineering Department by performing scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to guest room complaints, and assisting with emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain guest satisfaction.

Centro Olaya Riyadh is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment throughout the hotel.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults such as short circuits, power failures, and equipment breakdowns.

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize unexpected failures.

• Maintain lighting systems in guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house areas.

• Ensure proper functioning of distribution boards (DB), circuit breakers, and electrical panels.

• Assist with maintenance of emergency lighting, exit signs, and safety-related electrical systems.

• Support the Engineering team during renovations, room maintenance, and special projects.

• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments.

• Handle all electrical tools and equipment safely, ensuring proper storage.

• Follow hotel safety standards, SOPs, and engineering policies at all times.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and maintain work permits if required.

• Keep accurate records of repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance activities.

• Monitor electrical consumption and report any abnormalities.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in workshops and plant rooms.

• Report major faults, hazards, or equipment issues to the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer immediately.

Skills and Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrician in hotels, commercial buildings, or facility management.

• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.

• Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and follow technical instructions.

• Knowledge of safety practices, PPE usage, and hazard prevention.

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and daily checklists.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and willingness to support hotel operations 24/7 if needed.

• Physically fit and able to work in plant rooms, ceilings, and technical areas.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
