About the Role
As an F&B Service Supervisor at Courtyard by Marriott Kuwait City, you will oversee daily Food & Beverage operations, ensuring seamless service, guest satisfaction, and team performance. You will act as the primary point of contact during shifts, supporting associates while maintaining high service standards in all outlets.
You will work closely with the F&B Manager to ensure revenue goals, service quality, and operational efficiency are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

Supervise daily restaurant and outlet operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Lead and motivate F&B associates during service periods.

Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.

Monitor staffing levels according to occupancy and business demand.

Maintain service flow during peak hours while protecting guest experience.

Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and service procedures.
Guest Experience Excellence

Greet and interact with guests to create a welcoming dining atmosphere.

Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns or service challenges.

Ensure food and beverage presentation meets brand expectations.

Monitor guest satisfaction and implement corrective actions when needed.

Maintain strong floor presence during busy periods.
Team Development & Supervision

Train new team members on menu knowledge, service techniques, and Marriott standards.

Conduct daily pre-shift briefings.

Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.

Support performance evaluations and development plans.

Promote teamwork, professionalism, and positive morale within the department.
Financial & Administrative Duties

Assist in controlling labor costs and operational expenses.

Monitor inventory and minimize waste.

Ensure accurate billing and proper cash handling procedures.

Support sales reporting and daily revenue tracking.

Contribute to upselling initiatives to increase outlet profitability.
Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Maintain cleanliness in all service areas.

Enforce workplace safety procedures.
-
Report maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of Food & Beverage experience in a hotel or upscale restaurant.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Professional appearance aligned with Marriott standards.

Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Familiarity with POS systems and reporting tools.
