As a Front Desk Receptionist – Four Seasons Kuwait, you will be responsible for managing guest arrivals and departures, handling room assignments, processing payments, and responding to guest inquiries. You will maintain accurate records in the hotel system and ensure all transactions are completed correctly.

This role also includes assisting guests with information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions. The Front Desk Receptionist must maintain a calm and friendly approach even during busy operations and ensure all guests feel valued and well cared for.

The main responsibilities of the Front Desk Receptionist – Four Seasons Kuwait include:

  1. Welcome guests with a warm and professional greeting in line with Four Seasons standards.

  2. Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.

  3. Handle guest registration, room assignments, and key card issuance.

  4. Verify guest identification, booking details, and payment methods during check-in.

  5. Process billing, posting, and payment transactions including cash, credit card, and direct billing.

  6. Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  7. Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness and special room requirements.

  8. Communicate with Guest Relations and Concierge for VIP guests, special occasions, and guest preferences.

  9. Handle room changes, upgrades, late check-outs, and early arrivals based on availability and hotel policy.

  10. Maintain accurate guest profiles and ensure correct input of guest details in the system.

  11. Upsell room categories, packages, and hotel services to maximize revenue opportunities.

  12. Manage guest complaints professionally and ensure service recovery when needed.

  13. Follow hotel policies, SOPs, and security procedures at all times.

  14. Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow data protection standards.

  15. Support other Front Office tasks as required to ensure smooth daily operations.


Requirements – Front Desk Receptionist – Four Seasons Kuwait

To qualify for the Front Desk Receptionist – Four Seasons Kuwait position, candidates should have:

  • Previous experience in Front Office or Reception in a hotel environment is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Professional appearance, grooming, and positive attitude.

  • Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera PMS is an advantage.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks during busy shifts.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing and guest information.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

About the role:

The Front Desk Receptionist welcomes guests to the property, providing an exceptional guest experience at check-in, during the guest’s stay and on departure. This role works to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction during their arrival and departure, plus responding to a wide variety of guest requests, assessing guest needs, adding personal recommendations, and aligning with Four Seasons service standards. This role is part of the Front Office, reporting to the Front Desk Manager.
