Role Overview

As Guest Arrival Expert – Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort, you will manage the guest arrival process, coordinate with the front office and concierge teams, and ensure a smooth, welcoming, and memorable check-in experience. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate guest needs while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all arriving guests with a friendly, professional demeanor.

  • Facilitate smooth check-in processes, verifying reservations, room allocations, and special requests.

  • Assist guests with luggage handling, transportation arrangements, and escorting to rooms when necessary.

  • Provide clear and concise information about resort facilities, dining options, and activities.

  • Manage VIP and high-profile guest arrivals, ensuring personalized service and attention to detail.

  • Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Bell Desk teams to meet guest expectations efficiently.

  • Handle special requests, guest inquiries, and complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Maintain accurate records of guest arrivals, preferences, and special notes for future reference.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and privacy protocols during guest interactions.

  • Support operational readiness by checking guest areas, lobby presentation, and arrival setups.

  • Train and mentor junior staff or new team members on guest arrival procedures and standards.

  • Participate in service recovery and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the guest arrival experience.

Candidate Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in Hospitality Management preferred.

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in front desk, guest services, or VIP relations within luxury hotels or resorts.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.

  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to anticipate guest needs.

  • Professional appearance and grooming aligned with luxury standards.

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure or busy situations.

  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) and reservation software is preferred.

  • Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Ability to handle luggage and physically assist guests when required.
