About the Role – Intern – Finance – Jumeirah Hotels Dubai

The Finance Intern will gain practical exposure to hotel financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and budgeting processes. You will support the finance team in day-to-day activities while developing a deep understanding of hospitality finance, learning from experienced professionals, and contributing to the smooth financial management of Jumeirah Hotels.

Interns will also have opportunities to work on special projects, analyze financial data, and provide insights that may influence operational efficiency and revenue optimization.

Key Responsibilities – Intern – Finance – Jumeirah Hotels Dubai

• Assist the finance team in daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks.

• Support the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and operational reports.

• Help monitor budget adherence and financial performance across hotel departments.

• Maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices, and payments in line with Jumeirah policies.

• Assist with internal audits, reconciliations, and financial analyses.

• Support payroll processing and other HR-related financial tasks when required.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, F&B, and front office, to ensure financial accuracy.

• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of hospitality finance practices.

• Contribute to process improvements and provide suggestions for operational efficiency.

• Shadow senior finance team members to understand strategic decision-making processes in luxury hotels.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial reporting.

• Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

• A proactive and professional attitude, willing to learn and take initiative.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
