As Sales ManagerW Muscat, you will play a pivotal role in generating revenue and driving business growth through proactive sales efforts, strong client relationships, and market engagement. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and works closely with cross‑functional teams including operations, revenue management, catering, and events to maximise opportunities and achieve the hotel’s sales targets. You will be actively involved in both local corporate sales and broader market segments to strengthen the hotel’s competitive position in Muscat’s hospitality landscape.

Key Responsibilities – Sales Manager – W Muscat

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and potential clients in defined market segments such as corporate accounts, leisure, meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE)

  • Build and nurture strong, long‑term relationships with existing clients, travel agents, partners, and industry stakeholders to secure repeat business.

  • Conduct strategic sales calls, presentations, site visits, and proposals that effectively showcase W Muscat’s offerings and value propositions.

Sales Strategy & Operations

  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans aligned with revenue goals and market demand.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and agreements with clients while adhering to brand and company guidelines.

  • Track sales performance, forecast results, and provide regular reports and insights to senior management to support informed decision‑making.

Market Presence & Brand Representation

  • Represent W Muscat at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and cultivate strategic partnerships.

  • Monitor competitor activity and evolving market trends to adapt sales approaches and seize new opportunities.

  • Promote hotel services across internal and external channels to maximise market penetration and revenue results.

Team Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with the Revenue Management, Catering, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and operational delivery.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior sales staff or sales coordinators, sharing insights and best practices to strengthen team capability.

  • Communicate client preferences and requirements to relevant departments to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.


Candidate Profile & Requirements – Sales Manager – W Muscat

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

  • Previous experience in hotel sales, business development, or a related hospitality sales role (typically 2–5+ years) with proven results in generating revenue.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, sales strategies, and revenue‑driven initiatives.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse industries and client segments.

  • Proficiency in CRM and sales tools, with a results‑oriented mindset and attention to detail.
