Key Responsibilities – Waiter/ess – Lobby Lounge Service

Welcome all guests with a warm, professional approach, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.

Maintain a friendly, unobtrusive demeanor while delivering prompt and attentive service to guests.

Communicate effectively with the Culinary Team to ensure accurate and timely food and beverage service.

Control the usage of food, beverage items, equipment, and tools, ensuring minimal waste and maximum efficiency.

Anticipate guest needs, respond proactively to special requests, and resolve concerns swiftly to ensure satisfaction.

Accurately take guest orders using the hotel’s point-of-sale system and communicate any dietary restrictions or preferences to the kitchen.

Ensure all food and beverage items are presented and served according to Jumeirah standards, including detailed knowledge of ingredients, preparation, and plating methods.

Set up and break down tables, buffets, and food stations following hygiene and safety standards.

Monitor the dining area throughout service, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to operational standards.

Maintain knowledge of health, safety, and HACCP regulations to guarantee safe food handling and hygiene practices.

Collaborate with the team to optimize service flow during peak hours and large events.

Participate in team briefings, training, and performance reviews, contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery.

Support upselling initiatives by recommending menu items, beverages, and special offerings to enhance guest experiences.

Provide feedback on guest preferences, dining trends, and operational improvements to management.

Assist in maintaining stock levels of F&B items, tools, and equipment, ensuring readiness for daily operations.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Outlet Manager or Restaurant Supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
About You – Waiter/ess – Lobby Lounge Service

Minimum of 1-year experience in a five-star or luxury hotel environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgrounds.

Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced service environment.

Knowledge of international cuisine and beverage offerings.

Understanding of HACCP, hygiene, and food safety standards.
